We've done it again. Bernie and I have found another perfect stop for exquisite
dinning and outstanding wines. The Wine Vault & Bistro provides both a restaurant
and wine shop in their own non-traditional way. What makes them so unique is that
they only serve dinners, Thursdays through Saturdays, but you can sign up for the
special wine maker dinners Sunday through Wednesday.
What we love about this restaurant is that their menus change every week based on
what is fresh and available, and is not announced until a few days before the dining
event. The owners, Chris and Mary Gluck, say their passion in life is to, "keep
trying new wines that taste great." All the wines during the event are for sale,
so be sure to bring home a bottle of your favorite.
Their chef, Casey Howland, who goes by the initials KC, is an extremely creative
young man. Casey's always experimenting with new foods keeping the menu forever
changing. He only works with fresh foods brought in that day, so always expect excellent
quality.
