A new restaurant to us, which was introduced by one of our readers of the Sybarite
Newsletter (Thank you very much, Tina Marie), and we've absolutely fallen in love
with it.
This tiny little place is located in Del Mar, just off Highway 5. You'll definitely
need reservations if you go, since there are only about 32 seats in the entire restaurant.
We really enjoy it because of its size and intimate ambiance. In our opinion, it's
the best Italian food at a reasonable cost in San Diego.
The owner, Daniel Nobili takes a lot of pride in his restaurant and it shows in
the great food. A couple of my favorite dishes are the Pork Chops and the Tutto
di Mare. Bernie enjoys all of the veal dishes and we'd love to hear what your favorites
are if you get a chance to dine at TPV.
