Vino is the perfect place to go. Located in the beautiful Rancho Santa Fe Community
Pane E Vino's warm atmosphere provides its customers with good company and an exquisite
Tuscan-style cuisine.
The head chef, Chris O'Donnell, is a young (and we do mean young) but extremely
talented man. His ability to create the meals he does is an art in itself and his
menu features everything from Italian salads and flat bread sandwiches to seafood
dishes and meat skewers. To top it off you may enjoy one of his traditional Italian
desserts such as gelatos, sorbets and other delectable sweet treats.
"Everything from our tables to our food is unique and handmade, yet we strive to
insure that our atmosphere is simple and approachable" says Chris. "Our food is
high-quality and local but our price point is lower than our leading competitors."
The restaurant is not the only thing offered at Dolce Pane E Vino. Dr. Anthony (Tony)
F. Smith, the owner of the restaurant, opened a wine and cheese shop on site that
opens daily at 11:00am. This shop provides over 200 wines by the bottle and about
40 imported and domestic cheeses, meats and other various Italian food choices.
Dolce Pane E Vino is a high quality restaurant with reasonable prices
and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good company, a warm atmosphere and
fine Italian food.
