The hardest thing we do in life is effectively communicating with others. This is
because we assume that other people comprehend and process information the same
way we do; this is not the case. I would like to introduce you to a concept that,
if understood, allows you to communicate more effectively with other people. It's
called DISC. DISC was introduced to me by Tony Alessandra, author of "The Platinum
Rule" and a good friend and mentor of mine.

Something New...
Sally's by the Sea, a Hidden Gem of San Diego
Bernie and I have recently been re-introduced to a local restaurant that deserves
to be written about and fits into what the Sybarite is all about. The restaurant
I'm talking about is Sally's Seafood on the Water located in Seaport Village in
downtown San Diego. The intimate atmosphere and beautiful view of the bay is only
a bonus compared to the food they serve. All food is freshly served by a very personable
staff that goes out of their way to assure that you are comfortably dining.

San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival (again)
If you're a fan wine and food (and I mean really, who isn't) then you would love
the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival. I know it is early, and that I've done
this before, but every year I get a positive reaction from people who have attended
this event. The San Diego Wine and Food Festival is one of the year's best local
events for wine-ies and foodies. The eight year anniversary of this five day event
will take place on November 16-20th.
